Well I mainly need a receptacle for mixes and tracks. Right now I’m recording to an MP3 recorder or my phone over speakers and it’s just low Fidelity and it doesn’t work. I’m hoping that with this I’ll get a better quality result if I play even just one track in. But yes, eventually I could add vocals

Any of these will give him studio‑clean stereo capture of his MPC output.
Why the TASCAM DP‑006 is still the wrong tool
For an MPC user, the DP‑006 is even more mismatched:
-
It has no stereo line‑in
-
It only has two mono inputs
-
It’s designed for overdubbing, not mix capture
-
It forces you into a song project workflow
-
It records from tiny built‑in mics unless you use the mono inputs
-
It cannot take the MPC’s stereo output cleanly
-
It will give him worse fidelity than a cheap Zoom recorder
He’ll end up recording the room, not the MPC.
It’s the wrong device for the job.

Took a break from the “kickin “ song and did a little idea today. Its pretty melodic and I used a grace articulation again on this one

I’ve been thinking about restarting my radio shows, the station I was with might be getting a year on DAB Radio instead of FM community radio, its really cool actually, they’ve been producing some really good radio and they have been doing loads for the community with gigs and Albums, they also just secured a large amount of funding to try and push Scottish Hip Hop (if you can visualise that) and they have left the door open for me, I think I added a lot to their vibe.
recently @Jimbob got me hooked up with Apple Music and I am considering cancelling tidal now as its all roughly around the same audio quality, it means I will save Just one ÂŁ10 a month, I do like tidal but its a saving.

Im gonna start my instrument practice very soon… give me a couple months and I might be able to put a decent lead or some type of melody on your song.
