Here is a much improved second attempt at dub music.
I played my new bass guitar in this one.
Check this one out amigos…
Got some real dub effects in this one.

Love to hear some feedback please…
(Edit I have uploaded a shortened version by cutting a verse out @everhopeful )

Bass guitar sounds amazing.
I wish I could create stuff like that.
Again, my only critique is I feel you need to justify the length of the song by introducing something new in the 2nd half.
But what if free will isn’t an illusion

i could lose a verse and make it shorter, no probs.
I am really pleased witbh the bass guitar. I had never played one before a couple of days ago. It seems the guitar skills are transferable.
And the ambient sounds? Do you like them?

Yes, ambient sounds are good ! I took them for granted which is a good sign!

I got my guitar fixed up and everything but haven’t wrote or recorded anything yet sort of lost the willpower to do so. Good work

so @Rainstorm the trick to procrastination is the little trick of baby steps.
What you do is think about the steps you usually take when you practice guitar and dont think ‘I am going to play guitar now!’ because that takes multilple/several steps all at once.
Think, if i play guitar later, I want to have my stool set in that place. Then move the stool.
Sit back down, do your thing.
later, ‘I’ll tune that now!” do it!
I’ll have the guitar tablature put on the table. Do it.
Just one step at at a time. Before you know it you’ll either be practicing or be prepared for it when you do.
I learnt this trick by the simple idea that i saw in a psychiatrist post when he goes about telling people to meditate. Just say I’ll meditate for 10 seconds.
Then when you get in position, you think ‘well , i am here now’, i may as well meditate longer.
Hope this helps.

do you play guitar and sing at the same time?
I’d love to be able to do that consistently.
That song is all you right?
It sounds great. Lovely song.
Sounds good. I especially like the brass bit at the end. Great sincere work.

I do play and sing a little but for mixing reasons I recored vocals and guitar separately. And yea man..all me on this one…. In the second verse that sounds poorly mixed im playing and sing but it was just to get the idea down. Im gonna do it better later .

Your voice is good and unique man. I hope i encourage you to use it instead of the ‘robot’ so i can continue to call you an artist!
Flaws are human. If I listen to John Cale or Lou Reed there are flaws too.

Probably but only in the key of d is my guess cuz I favored that key. It’s the easiest key on the Alto saxophone.
I’m thinking about getting a flute same kind of keys
Bro do it…. We can make a song together
Or not lol ..
Just saying
