I think my mom is trying hard to make an effort. My mom refused all of my calls and never tried calling me back for over a year. Literally the last time I spoke to my mom on the phone was April 25th of last year.
But it is Mother’s Day today and I wanted to be nice so I called her and left a message cause she didn’t pick up. But you guys! She called me back an hour later!! It was so good to talk to her just lighthearted conversation. I feel like we have pushed past a barrier.
