Bruh… I was in desperate circumstances with that a few weeks ago… now I get a couple hours a night and just chillin … feeling kinda ok.

I would advise you to get help sleeping. I was insomniac for 10 years. The first couple of years the body kept it’s vigour, but then health gradually deteriorated. I sleep ok now, but my health isn’t good, that’s the price for all that sleeplessness.

Yes maybe eventually. I tried in earnest to get help with sleep and my issues and was turned away from hospital 3x, so am a bit jaded.

Can you talk to your doctor about trying sleep meds? Once I went to the GP and expressed my sleep problem and they prescribed 3 different sleep meds for me to try.
Also maybe look if any of your current meds are causing it. For me it was generic zyprexa causing the majority of the sleep problems. Switched to brand name and things drastically improved.

I’ll wait 6months if no improvement ill have to go on a sedating antipsychotic, but thats 6 of one half dozen of the other, catch22 like situation.

The drs I’ve had all refused to give me sleep meds because I have a mental illness. They say that means my mental illness is not controlled and I need those meds sorted out instead. This has been from multiple health systems over the course of a decade

Does she have insomnia? It must be pretty serious that she’s in the hospital. I hope she’ll be okay.
