My vape died and was not vaping for 3 days. Felt slow and was eating much more. I felt more tired but anxiety was gone. I had less thoughts or things to say, I was out with friends and had nothing to say, they asked me why I am not talking, felt embarrassed. I wonder if the small benefits of nicotine in energy are worth it over the anxiety and the physical health problems it causes. I think I will ask my dr for patches or gum and stay on those as they are healthier than vaping.
Its a stimulant which is bad for sz and anxiety. My Dr told me any stimulant even caffeine and nicotine causes anxiety, even strattera.
I quit smoking 3 years ago and vaping 2 years ago…I still use nicotine gum every day. It’s cheaper and you can use it anywhere. Still, I wish I didn’t use ANY nicotine products…but for now it’s better than being chained to cigs or vapes. Good luck on quitting!
I was on stratera for adhd. Not sure if I liked it much. Dont take it anymore. If you cant handle the nicotine withdrawals I highly recommend some nice nicotine chewing gum. And most of the cheaper flavourless ones are gross. I recommend spending the extra bit of money for a top range brand and flavour. I dont know what you can get where you are. But nicorette icy mint or nicorette freshfruit 4mg nicotine gum is sooooo good.
I think I will take this opportunity to reduce my antipsychotic dose as I don’t have anxiety or positive symptoms anymore. I think the nicotine was worsening them.
Are you in the US? You might be able to use zyn nicotine pouches or a nicotine patch to hold you over while you are recovering from wisdom tooth removal
i use those from time to time and my dr told me zyn pouches could give me dry sockets and those are extremely painful. im getting patches delivered, so ill be using those.
