Poll - should we get rid of the Current affairs category?

I see the deleted post. It was in the lounge and it wasn’t a news story. We made this category specifically for factual news stories and that any comments should remain factual and not political opinions.

The intent of the current affairs category is listed in the rules and the description of the category. It is intended to keep current affairs news off the main forum when major events are happening and people are tempted to post about them. It is kept separate with the goal being that those that do not wish to be informed about things like this can mute that category.
