Went back to ER for panic attacks and esophageal urging and was prescribed hydroxyzine 50mg nighly and 20mg mornings. Took a 50 and feel cool as a cucumber but still having some urging.
The most serious side effect is qtc prolongation which paliperidine caused and gave me palipitations.
I like hydroxyzine. I need at least 50 mg though during the day when I’m having anxiety. I hope the 20 mg works for you
Have you taken it long term?
I’ve taken it for a few months but only as needed, not everyday
Oh i hope theres something they can give me long term if i need it
I think it’s fine long term. It’s just a prescription antihistamine. It just might not work as well long term, I’m not sure.

Went back to ER last night due to more panic attacks and was given clonazepam and that put my lights out. Feel pretty good waking up, but my panic attacks dont usually start until later.
I’ve been in hydroxizine for years. It helps but I take it mostly at night for my nighttime anxiety.
Are you having any side effects you can attribute to it?
A little bit of fatigue throughout the day but that’s about it.
