This lack of sleep feels just awful. Slept like 4 hours in the last 4 days I think. Tbh can’t remember properly - not thinking well at all

It could be temporary. I withdrew completely from 800mg of it a few years ago. It took time for my body to adjust and me to start sleeping without it. Now I just take a very low dose of it. 25mg.

Just took the balance of quetiapine so back up to pre reduction dose.

Feels a lot better

Gonna stop this reduction. It’s not worth it

I’ve decided not to use Seroquel on an everyday basis, just going to take it for severe insomnia when it hits me.

My psychiatrist is ok with this.

I find this drug way too sedating to take on a regular basis.

I’m not functional on this drug

Ugh! I went off Seroquel cold turkey about 5 years ago…I didn’t sleep for 3 days and began hearing doctors talking about me thru the walls and thought that the police were trying to catch me. I was so paranoid that I wouldn’t even take my dog out to use the bathroom…it was bad. I’m glad you went back on it at least to be able to sleep again.

I was suffering from insomnia and aripiprazole helped me alot to have a good sleep.but some days I have insomnia though.

Jim bob are you still on Depixol ? I was lowered with 100 mg Clopixol one year ago.

You are on a very low dose of Seroquel of 200 mg so I don’t think that you’ll get any benefits from getting off of the Seroquel and after all you benefit from the meds sleep wise.

I’m on Seroquel as well.

6 weeks ago we lowered my Seroquel to 400 mg. Everything went well for one month. But the past 14 days I got more and more depressed and lately I slept for just 4.5 hours on average.

Today it got to much for me so I went back on 500 mg Seroquel because I today for the first time in my life got depressed with suicidal ideations.

Yep am on depixol. But oral pills not depot. Yep the seroquel dose I am on is for anxiety I think. It still is a big weight gainer though
