I’m still reading a way of kings by Brandon Sanderson. Really enjoying it. Half way through it. It’s one heck of a thick book. I’m a slow reader.

This might sound stupid, but the last year or so I have been reading teen and kid fiction. Stuff like the Harry Potter series and at the moment I am reading the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan.

I find that these books are easier to read because it feels like my attention span for reading has dropped as I age.

That’s not stupid at all. A lot of kids and teen/ young adult books are great! @Vinegar

I got a trial of audible to listen to stuff. I gotta be careful not to spend much though.

@Agent101g there are apps that you can connect to your library account that have audiobooks you can “borrow “ for free

OMG that’s awesome. The cost is the only thing stopping me from consuming tons of them. I have a library within walking distance without having to cross any roads so I might go ask them in the next couple days about doing that.

That’s perfect @Agent101g ! One app is hoopla and another is Libby. You sign up using your library card

She’s an amazing woman! I read she survived by eating herbs and roots of plants in deserted areas for years.

Indeed. Initially 3 loaves. But once gone, she foraged for all sorts of things. Severe asceticism! Me I struggle to fast Wed/Fri throughout the year and during Fasting Seasons in general - and ultimately its not even a drip on the difficulty of what the Desert bunch did for years on end. Without complaint or concern. I get sad I have to eat vegan twice per week. Poor me  all hail King Banjo who deserves better/more.
