Someone keeps ringing the door bell relentlessly even though my mums car isn't outside

someone ringing your doorbell for more than a short period of time when your not answering seems worthy of a call ot the authorities if you are afraid.

Whether or not they know your inside, I would think continuing to ring the doorbell for an extended time after no one answers might be classified as some form of harassment.

Again some of this stuff might not apply where you live. Laws are different everywhere so…

seems to be a relative of a neighbour but I can’t tell … if she comes back and stays at the door for another 5 minutes I will call them.
