Spread the word on other sz forums, fx reddit

I think it would be a good idea if people when active on the reddit forum for schizophrenics or other sz forums mention this forum, so we can have more members. I often mentioned the old forum when active on the subreddit for SZ.

I’ve been to the schizophrenia subreddit, tried to help the people there, but I never invited them here because most of them are a lot farther gone than us and seem much more symptomatic. The subreddit doesn’t seem well moderated over there, there are constant self harm notes and substance talk and delusional rants. If they came here that would be one thing but we’d need to be ready to moderate. They also get trolled a lot more there by other subreddits trying to have edgy fun.

I don’t want to exclude anyone though and it’s ultimately up to you guys, just throwing in my two cents as someone who frequents Reddit and comments every now and then on the sz sub there.

The whole pro medicine aura that this site has, is lacking in other places on the web, and that argument obfuscates everything else in my experience

Thanks for the warning. I have only invited people a few times, and only when people seemed to be sane and lonely. I tend to overlook the people who are really suffering, because I’m unable to give them any advice. I will take care in the future.
