When I was a kid I stole a bar of chocolate from the village shop.
man I felt so guilty that the next day I bought two bars of chocolate and put one back on the shelf!!

Wholesome story, at least you cared.
LOL!
Totally joking of course.
Much love man!
I like that you did that. It shows you’re really a good person who made a mistake
I once found a rich kids wallet and I was going to keep the cash in it (there was a ton). I threw the empty wallet down the trash chute and gloated over my new found wealth. Then the guilt hit me. I couldn’t handle it. I ran to the basement and went through the trash found the wallet, put the money back in and returned the wallet to the guy the next day. I was 14
I’ve found money lying on the ground 4 times in my life. lowest amount was 20 highest was 150ish. I know that’s not as bad but I made no effort to return it… not sure how I would have found its owner if I had though.
When I was 6 years old, I used to get brownies from a vending machine, on the way home from school. They were only 10¢. Once I didn’t get a brownie after putting my dime in, so they gave me another dime. Once when I didn’t have a dime, I pretended my brownie didn’t come out. I probably felt guilty, but I wouldn’t do that again, because they would be suspicious. Probably 10¢ then, is about $2 now. Actually $1.07.
That’s a cute story!
thats not too bad, if you went looking for the owner every person in a 1,000 mile radius would claim to be the owner, if it was a wallet with an id you could find them but if just cash consider it good luck
You make a lousy criminal.
