Strange coincidence

I was watching South Park and thirty minutes later people on Facebook were talking about and quoting that same episode. I know it’s probably a coincidence but need reassurment. This is just a coincidence right?

I’m not on Facebook so don’t know much about it.

I get coincidences too and it makes my mind form unusual or delusional beliefs and then i feel like my psychosis is the ‘real’ deal, kind of like how maybe jesus was scz.

I hope u are not too distressed.

It sounds like just a coincidence then. It’s unlikely others would have chosen to talk about it for any other reason than coincidentally.

Coincidences are guaranteed to make us paranoid though.

It’s the Algorithm. Cookies those things on the internet they ask you to decline or accept. Decline them. I used to think people were watching me on the internet. The cookies track what websites you visit and what you watch. It happens to everybody. I hope I’m not triggering you but there is always a logical explanation. That is the explanation.

And the cookies don’t track you to watch you. I was a marketer for 10 years. It’s so people can collect demographic information to advertise to you and make money. Not to hurt you.

That may explain it. I’m just afraid because the people I perceive are talking about me on Facebook say they will hurt me and my family if I ignore them.

Ahh ok. Yes I’ve been there particularly when my schizophrenia touches my OCD. I think if I don’t clean I’ll have demons. Maybe get your med provider to adjust your meds a bit.
