My testosterone has dropped from 440ng/dl in March 2025 to sub 150ng/dl now.
Back in March I was still recovering. If I hadn’t relapsed and stayed off meds I imagine my testosterone would have climbed to high 700s.
I really want to sue and teach these bastards a lesson
And pdoc in ward, and community pdoc have the audacity to suggest mood stabilizer. Are they brain damaged? Thick? Stupid? Testosterone regulates sleep, mood, sex drive etc.
Isn’t the law against this? I mean, schizophrenia can be sectioned. Unless there’s a way to prove you don’t have psychosis ever, then you are put on these medicines by law?
Has to be started or lead by non SZ. I’ve had some legal adventures. I’ve spent less time under formal admission than you, have a fantastic professional work history, good support from my doctors. Still didn’t get taken seriously until advocated for by someone without SZ who wasn’t a lawyer (judges know lawyers are just in it for billable hours and a percentage and they would work for a dead rat if they could).
Yes the meds will do a number on you. Any court will decide it is reasonable to prevent symptoms. You are fighting a losing battle, sorry to say. Your only real option is to adhere to treatment until you can take some freedom back and lower your dose, administer own meds
The longer you are medically compliant, the better the odds of being put on aripirazole or other more testosterone friendly AP. Then it’s a matter of weightloss, which can still happen.
Youre trying to transcend what is accepted as real.
I understand you don’t want to take the meds, theyre bad for you, and they don’t completely work.
I don’t like meds either, didn’t take them for a long time, and don’t want to take them now.
I take them because once psychotic I get handled like a piece of meat with no rights, forced with injections and locked up.
All these thoughts and arguments youre having are going to prevent you from making strategic winning choices.
Only way to win is to take the meds. The law is against you and theres thousands of people programmed out there to serve the law.
Making a post about fighting the law by suing pharma and the state is not going to help you. Admit to yourself you have a problem with your head and you have to accept their solution for it
No one ever told me they would. I was told they could help reduce symptoms and help me maintain my insight. I was also warned the side-effects sucked donkey booty.
No one warned me that the Zyprexa would make my weight explode by hundreds of pounds while giviing me diabetes and that the Clozaril would come close to killing me. That’s what I tried to see a lawyer over. Non-starter.
if you decide to sue you better have an open and shut, ironclad case because Big Pharma has all the money to hire the best lawyers in the world to defend themselves.
