@Agent101g I don’t think we can ever really compare the severity of pain or recovery and assume ours is less than. Yours hurt. That’s what matters. I’m so sorry about the anesthesia making food taste weird; I’ve never experienced that before, but I know I wouldn’t like it. Part of the fun of having a procedure is getting to break your diet a bit. How can you do that when everything tastes funny?
