I am having a surgery on Monday. I just learned about it yesterday, so it’s rather sudden. Tomorrow, my medical clearances should be complete because we’ll be getting back the results of my blood tests. I need to clean my very messy house to make it easier to get around afterwards. This should really make a difference for my poor old arthritic knee. We are replacing the left one first, and the right one will be replaced later. Please wish me luck as I am considered very high risk.

Tomorrow is the big day. I report to the hospital at 6am, and it’s apparently a long day. I’m nervous but am looking forward to getting patched up. My SO keeps telling me I’ll be a bionic woman. lol
ETA: I will spend tonight cleaning up because my house is a MESS! No rest for the wicked and all that.

Thanks everyone! I’m still at the hospital. The stay has been great, and I have a private room. Yay! I had a spinal block and some other stuff to knock me out, and I woke up numb and feeling fine. I did physical therapy, and they are waiting to determine if I peed enough. That is the last condition of release. It’s actually been an alright day.
