It was never a big holiday for me, in elementary school valentines were passed out but by high school all it was about was eating chocolate and candy hearts with a few words on them. By the time I got out of high school it was just another day like any other day.

When I was 11 I decided to get the nicest girl in my class a Valentine card and a plastic rose, I gave it to her in thee playground when everyone was lined up to go in, I also kissed her on the cheek, anyway, she started crying and her Mum had to come to the school because she was so upset about it, I was sat at the table while she was crying and her Mum was looking at me lol,
Idk, why but I think it might have affected the way I am, I haven’t ever been great getting a date online or off, I guess I feel ike I did something wrong that day and it stuck with me.
I’m not blaming anyone though, its just something that happened.

Nothing special that day not even meeting my bf cos we are taking a break; im starting a diet n that is gonna trigger anxiety. But what needs to be done, needs to be done. Short term loss for long term gain.
Giving my wife a card, making her supper, giving her a footrub. Those are the exciting plans.

No special plans here. It’s just a religious holiday that got commercialized. It even annoys a lot of couples out there. Just another day for me though.

I can not help but remember my valentines day 2004 when I tried to end my life at my spouse’s friend’s place. I was very drunk but that is no excuse. I was rushed to the hospital emergency room on an ambulance. still I feel so embarrassed when I meet this friend of his, I am so ashamed of my behavior. I know it was more than 20 years ago, but I still consider it one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made.

Me? Oh! The scientist! Haven’t made my move on him yet but I realized it was valentine’s day and I slowed it down a little bit because I didn’t want to be tricked by all the love that’s in the air lol I hope you weren’t referring to “my girlfriend" that lasted a day lol. I move pretty fast. I like being single.

Oh yeah, I was referring to your girlfriend. But the scientist sounds interesting! My friend started dating an engineer and she was like he’s not the coolest person I’ve ever met but he’s so nice. So the sciences are in. Hehe lol
