I went to polytechnic (community college) and studied photography, graphic design and drawing/ painting.
But dropped out after 2 years, because they werent teaching me any skills, and I was basically just teaching myself..

Thank you. Aside from moderately severe EF deficits, the other problems, slow handwriting and slow typing,are as much (or more)physical than cognitive. Trying to write neatly/type correctly, as fast as I can reduces how much cognitive firepower that’s available for me to use.It takes me quite a while to make even quite a small forum post!

Both my parents were very intelligent, but chose,for differing reasons, not to go to uni. I know that later on my father started studying for a law degree. I never knew whether he finished the degree course or not. Despite that he took early retirement after serving as the senior British diplomat covering Alabama,Georgia,Mississippi,North Carolina,South Carolina, and Tennessee. He was the diplomatic equivalent of a 2 star general.
