I dont think raising awareness of sz is going change stigma? But they prob just mean autism and anxiety awareness? Gawd knows
Schizophrenia awareness day is on May 24 … I remember because it was birthday of my best friend whose sz brought him to suicide ..

Yeaaah it seemed Society thought some mental health matters n others dont.
Maybe someone well known had that diagnoses but aint many “Schizos” that are well known.
But why should such matter …
Shouldnt all diagnoses be included to get good health care snd support snd inclusion.
I have been isolated n disrespected etc and was denied the ndis.
Since my dog and i moved im not treated as badly but more nicely at shops etc
First Epstein survivor was diagnosed Schizophrenic.
Turned out she was telling the truth n traumatised.
She was believed by sooooomeone (unlike me n many).
She probably aint the only one.
I think lots of us survived trauma and ptsd would be diagnosis but we were not believed.
That can also cause hyper senssitivity .
