2mg Abilify? I need your help guys

Pdoc was saying I won’t get more than grounds s17 unless I take something.

I’m asymptomatic but I may just ask for 2mg aripriprazole (abilify).

Then quit it when I’m home.

Abilify at 10mg caused priapism. So yeah. Kinda scary.

And no more depots for me either.

I may just take nothing and wait for another hearing.

I need to teach the nhs a lesson.

Neuroleptics are NOT a safety net or preventative with psychosis.

The way to avoid relapse is by avoiding stress.

Majority of the people I’ve seen on psych wards were on meds over the years and STILL relapsed…due to stress. It even happened to one of my friends. She had a stressful life event and I caught her slipping. Then she ended up on the same ward as me last Xmas.

10mg is lowest minimum dose for sz

What is ‘grounds s17’? What won’t you get more of?

Sorry if I’m bring a bit thick here.

For what it’s worth, if the symptoms don’t urgently require it, I wouldn’t take any additional medication.

But that’s just me.

Grounds s17 is grounds leave.

S17 is a subsection of the mental health act (UK) which permits one to go outdoors on escorted or unescorted leave.

These abilify pills come in 5mg tablets at smallest. You cud cut it in half to 2.5mg daily but idk what is good for you tho. Check wid doctor

Since the Nottingham horror show the Mental health services are being more strict.

I don’t think they will let you out unmedicated these days.

So you will need to adapt to it and find a medication that is most tolerable.

I took 5mg before and was OK. Scared of hypersexuality.

I’ve emailed my pdoc and asked for 2mg.

You take 2.5mg a day right?

I take 5mg. I am happy with that. My pdoc agreed to it.
