I lost a lot of weight at the start of using Mounjaro but now a couple of years into being on in it I’m actually gaining weight.
These meds can stop working as far as losing weight is concerned but they continue to have other health benefits like controlling glucose and lowering cholesterol and triglycerides

What dose were you on?
I started off at the lowest dose a couple of years back but now I’ve been on 10mg for a while
We’re you ever on 5 mg? How did that do for you? I don’t want to go to 10 mg because the official study shows that there’s an increase of 60% side effects relatively, and only extra weight loss of 30% relatively
5mg is really a starters dose, it’s not going to do that much as far as glucose control is concerned but it may help a bit with weight loss
Yup I am aware , side effect goes up a lot at higher dosage for less weight loss in contrast, for example 10 mg of mounjaro has 7.1% side effects occuring, boasting weight loss of 19.5%, 5 mg has 4.3% of side effects, weight loss of 15% so I am thinking in terms of relative ratio , it’s not worth it to go to 10mg . Besides, in my area, mounjaro 10 mg doesn’t cost just 30% more than 5 mg, both 7.5 and 10 mg are priced at higher

Good luck with mounjaro. I’m considering pursuing this avenue too, but it’ll be useless for me because I don’t do the extra mile in terms of fitness. Hoping that I will stabilise my glucose and then have the energy consistency to exercise frequently for now is my plan

I have lost over 180 lbs. Around 90 without meds and another 90 with Saxenda and then Wegovy. No side-effects at all with Wegovy now.

What dosages did you lose weight on wegovy? Did you keep track?
Maximum dose of 2.4 mg. It gives me a normal appetite. I can eat a single, reasonable helping and be full after. Don’t snack all the time. I also cleaned up my diet and I exercise, not just relying on the medication for the weight loss.
What was your original weight?
