I am looking to lose weight but already eating very low amounts of food like 800 cal a day. Do they burn fat or speed up metabolism or they only work by making you eat less?
Trick your brain neurochemically into thinking stomach is full
i used to think weight loss was strictly calorie consumption but these ozempic and wegovy are definitely contesting that considering serena williams someone who trains more and is more athletic than anyone whod usually be the main target for weight loss meds and eats a good diet was still having trouble losing weight until getting on a glp1
On Mounjaro it makes you less hungry and you get full faster/easier. You can’t eat whatever you want on it though, part of taking it is changing your diet to a healthy diet and exercising.
I’m on Mounjaro and it makes you feel full all the time.
Recently lost 10 pounds.
Try HIIT. It’s quite effective. I lost a lot of weight when I was doing it.
It’s tougher but Keto/Lo carb has been amazing for me.
It’s like going vegatarian/ vegan. It’s a different way of eating for sure but it works and the funny thing is the gains in mental function for someone like me with paranoid sz.
Like long term it’s a little tricky but 2 years in and I’m learning better and adapting which is any diet but my mental gains after 20 years of same meds/ same doses/same function to…
Higher function/lowest clinical doses/same meds has been amazing. It works…
Whether it works for all is a seriously good question but I’m glad I found it before the weight loss jabs. You still have to watch what you eat which is funny to me because it’s dieting but appreciate the tech…it’s just so new so side effects are there too like anything that affects the brain.
I’m in wegovy. I’ve lost 10kg since Christmas. I’ve just got up to the therapeutic dose 2 weeks ago so I should start loosing more now faster. It takes time to slowly get to the right dose.
It makes me not eat as much. Counteracts the psych meds.
From what I understand and have read, they increase metabolism and reduce cravings a lot
I am on 5 mg mounjaro, losing weight but slowly, planning to go to cobenfy
Im so tempted to try, but im scared of the needle and the possible side effects.
I am also worried of the rare and serious side effects. The fact is they are expensive and the weight supposedly bounces back if you quit the med eventually. But maybe still worth a try.
The needle is essentially painless if you inject on the right spots like outer upper thigh or 3 fingers away from belly button slightly above the halfway mark
I injected once in the inner thigh and it hurts a lot, didn’t realize that’s where most of the nerves are located
