Had church this morning at 9am till 11am. I just got home and it’s 11:30am. Going to nap till 1pm at the latest. Then I’m gonna get up and get going.
My plan is to walk to the corner store which is a 1/2 mile walk. I gotta get bread and sliced cheese. Then I’ll walk home. Then I want to walk to the gym to run 2 miles on the treadmill because it’s way too hot to run outside. It’s a 3/4 mile to the gym then I gotta walk home.
So if I complete everything after all is said and done I’d be at over 4.5 miles both walked and ran.
I don’t know do you think I can do it? I want to rest but I want to exercise because I’ve been neglecting exercising lately due to the 100+ degree heat

So I already changed my mind and I’m ordering the bread and cheese for delivery from walmart(I get free delivery because of my membership)
But I’m still going to go to the gym and run on the treadmill. Just taking a mile out of the equation.

its great you want to exercise but if it was me I’d listen to my body and rest, but I have a delicate system where I need to balance my energy or I burn out so easily.
On my phone I have a target that is set to 6000 steps a day and I’ve been doing well at it, little bits here and there, its mostly at around 8000 steps I do these days so I might put the target up to 7k, I am Kida at my limits but today it says about 6km which is ok I guess, do you have a pedometer? I have a free one on my phone.
I was also at Church today, my singing voice has really suffered, I can tell, it’s bad but luckily I kept the volume low so nobody really heard.

I’m sorry your voice is suffering. I’m not a good singer myself even when I have a fully functioning voice.
I hear what you’re saying but I haven’t exercised in over a week, I feel like I’ve been lazy.

I haven’t practiced for a while & it is apparent, at one point a couple years ago it was so much better. still helps my mood anyway

I usually walk with my Mom but she has a migraine and I have a splinter in my toe that I can’t get out. We might still walk though

I think in 100+ degree heat going to the gym instead is wise.

Oh but the catch is that I have to walk there in the heat and back again because I don’t have a car

Ugh! That’s awful! How far is it?

It’s about 3/4 mile to and back again so a total of 1.5 miles.

Well, hopefully you can go during the better times of day when it’s less hot.

I’m hoping I can get the motivation to get up at 4:30 and go running before I start work at 6am.
