I am wondering if anyone here with sz/sza has ever had their symptoms change or differ? I’m asking because I heard a voice in my head saying he was God last night. I know that God isn’t speaking to me, but I’m scared because this is different. I’ve had external voices, but this is new. I’m mostly concerned because it’s a change. Any insight or input would be appreciated.

Sometimes they get worse yes but really I hate my ocd more than my sz

Oddly enough, I think mine is the same- OCD is generally worse than sza. OCD is the pits.

Mine have changed. I used to mostly hear whispers of voices. Around the super bowl 2 years ago the illness started talking to me very clearly.

I’ve had delusions become more complex over time. But once they did they stayed with me. So did the voices.
So my symptoms never really changed much

I in the year out of my mind from ap’s in the beginning I switched from believing scientists were sending me messages to it becoming Jesus Who was talking to me. calming…don’t be afraid of the God voice but don’t obey it either…I believe sz’s are open during psychosis to the spirit world…but that is delusional thinking too…I don’t believe that anymore.

But they miss the point
Yet I still pummel my mind with these tranquillisers to avoid being persecuted

I always have voices. They say the same crap over 11 years. Delusions have changed over the years, poisoned, abducted by God cult, peoples thoughts in my mind, the list goes on. Hallucinations I rarely get now. I’m glad I don’t because they really make me question reality.

Yes. I almost never hallucinate when I am having symptoms. Its almost strictly delusions. But during a brief period, when I was at my worst, I had a couple visual hallucinations and one audio. This is pretty much unheard of for me, so yes, I have had changing symptoms before.
