You talk with someone and you hear them say something unpleasant to you and when you tell them you didn’t like what they said to you they’re like “I didn’t say that”
Earlier I heard my mom say “Do an effort Go to work” and she said she told me “I hope you’ll be able to go at work tomorrow”
I found out (years later) that I didn’t have a full convo with my mom (over the phone) it didn’t happen… She said we hadn’t talked that day
It seems scary when that kind of things happen
@Vaiana it really is… In the convo I thought I had she told me to get out of her house and never come back so I quickly packed my stuff and left… It wasn’t a good time in my life and after I came back and she found out what I told my at the time therapist she said “I didn’t say that” and would shove it in my face a lot… Honestly I’m glad not to live with her anymore… I’m thankful she helped my husband and I both get our disability but… She’s not exactly nice all the time
Dude does that too. I hear him say something under his breath and I’m like what did you just say? I didn’t say anything!. Well ■■■■.
I never had that before even when fully psychotic for 2 years but after stopping my meds several times for years I misheard a harmless word as an insult last time because it sounded similar. It now happens when I cut my dose in half too
I get it, it looks so real because it’s something they could really say, but in the end it wasn’t true
I hope you’re surrounded by healthy people now (I mean that are not toxic)
@Vaiana my mom is still in my life I call her at least twice a day and visit about once a week my husband is amazing! Even my therapist and other mental health professional says my husband is a saint! My mom is a little better but still… A little toxic… My mother in law is a lovely woman
