When I saw you can’t do hedonism I was like “It’s not for me then”

Do you follow Dokkodo? How do you know about Miyamoto Musashi?

I read philosophy. A lot of different philosophies. Mostly Western philosophy right now. I agree with this philosophy

That’s great! Philosophy is a really interesting field. I would like to read up on John Locke and his contribution to the Enlightenment.

I came acroos Zappa’s ‘The Last Great Elk’ recently also known as ‘The last messaiah’.

It is about the ending of humanity by not reproducing for a few reasons such as humanity has developed past its best before date in terms of consciousness and it is pointless for the race to continue.

:deer: “The Last Great Elk” (Zappa‑style spirit, in essence)

A playful but deadly‑serious idea:

A lone creature who sees through the madness of the herd, refuses the rituals, and walks its own path — even if it means walking alone.

It’s the myth of the outsider who won’t bow to noise, fashion, or collective delusion.

:high_voltage: “The Last Messiah” (Zapffe’s doctrine, in a few words)

Peter Wessel Zapffe’s idea, distilled:

Humans became too self‑aware for their own good.
Consciousness is a burden we can’t carry, so we invent distractions, illusions, and beliefs to avoid seeing the truth.

The “Last Messiah” is the one who refuses all illusions and sees reality naked — and is crushed by it.”
