I tried to talk to my neighbor and he tolerated me but he didn’t want to talk and his face showed contempt and hostility.
I have to get a job to get another car so I’m trying to get use to people . Guys if the guy hates me should I just avoid or what?
I’m having the same issue, worrying that someone (in this case, my boss) hates me. I think that sometimes, our illness does this to us. If he really, genuinely doesn’t like you, I’d just avoid him. If you aren’t sure, you can still avoid him if it makes you more at ease. You can’t win 'em all over. Sometimes, you have to think of your own comfort level, too, you know?
Just ignore him and avoid him. No worries
I guess I will just say hi but avoid. I know he hates me but I was legitimately trying to make peace.

People live in their own worlds you can’t know why he behaved the way he did.
Just let it go and forget about it.
