Feeling low and depressed

Feb 25th is two weeks off meds

I’m doing alright

Community pdoc is still being an idiot and saying I need to take neuroleptics.

The only reason antipsychotics are a first line of treatment is because WHO and the FDA and the Medicine and Healthcare products regulatory agency all scratch each others backs. There’s lobbying. There’s bribery going on in the background.

The fact of the matter is that antipsychotics have never worked for me. Awful side effect profile and no respite from positive symptoms when I tooks APs.

I attempted suicide twice over a 4 month period due to meds and lengthy detention in hospital.

I’m coming up to 13 months in hospital soon.

My section expires in 3 weeks approx.

Is it going be renewed?

I am asymptomatic rn, and not a danger to myself or the community. So why can’t I be discharged?

If the hospital doctor agrees to discharge but community consultant says no to s117 aftercare (a statutory requirement) then that means I stay in hospital again. He blocked discharge 2 to 3 times before.

I just can’t win against the evil, sadistic, overbearing NHS.

I just want to go home and hit the weights 7 days a week. Music production 7 days a week. I know I can earn a living from music.

The NHS is not letting me thrive.

Yep they draw a hard line now on mandatory treatment with aps.

It is kind of unreasonable and disregards bodily autonomy for state and medical power.

Maybe agree to take low dose abilify or rexulti etc.

In the long run you will be sectioned, forced treated, have worse rebound relapses, prob more suicide attempts etc.

Make a wise choice man not the most idealized one.

A low dose like 10mg abilify or 2mg rexulti may help keep you out of trouble and not hold you back.

My guess is they’re waiting for you to acquiesce to medication before they let you out. I would play nice until your freedom is restored and then just get off the sh it if you don’t want to be on it

10mg abilify gave me priapism and unwanted blood flow down south :face_with_spiral_eyes:

I could always take 5mg abilify but I want to stand my ground.

Man standing your ground is good, but youre not the favorite in this contest. You are underdog by a long shot. You will have to pull off a paradoxical win to beat the odds against you.

I agree with my bro, I think that the reality is that the way they function is that they like to slap medication on people in. If you don’t accept it then you’re not going to get

Seems like your text to speech isnt working

Is it possible to take them then taper off or do they check after you get out?

If I take them they will CTO me.

That’s a community treatment order, where I’m forced to take them in the community.

Sounds like a bad situation - maybe you could try some of those milder drugs, like partial agonists with possibly less side-effects.
