Gotta face the facts

I’m tapering down my Seroquel but like my sister and someone else on here said: I was taking Seroquel because I used to get excited and crazy about neighbors but I don’t do that anymore. Maybe the Seroquel is the reason I don’t do that anymore. I mean I still get mad at the guy but I don’t take it to the extreme anymore. I went down from 400 mg to 250 mg and I’ll keep a close eye on myself and my sister said she’ll alert me if she notices any changes in me.

Yeah, under my doctors supervision. I know I still need an AP, I get the Invega Sustenna shot every three weeks.

Great! Asenapine made me hyper and angry so I totally get it. I was able to recognize it was very unlike me and that it started after I got on asenapine. I reported it to my doctor and she let me switch meds. Soon after I switched I was normal again.

I agree with @jukebox

You still have these mini delusions over your neighbors

I agree. However, this med may not be working for him. That’s what happened to me. While on asenapine I was hyper, angry, and I briefly changed religion. I literally thought I could talk to trees etc. it was crazy. I’m so glad I got off that AP and onto zyprexa and risperidone!
