Went to the office to apply for assistance with my $202 monthly deductable for Medicare. Turns out I’ve already had it since 2024.
She said I got go to social security for this but she said they are gonna owe me back pay.
202x12 months is around $2,400 for potentially 2 years. So thinking maybe $4-5,000 maybe more don’t remember the month of 2024 she said
Awesome news for me

What do you have to do to get assistance with Medicare? What is the program called?
@Sunshine I think it was the medical assistance program. Can’t remember for certain now. Human services department

There’s a few of them, but you might be referring to a program called Extra Help (Low-Income Subsidy). This program helps lower Medicare Part D prescription drug plan costs, including monthly premiums, annual deductibles, and copays.
