Have quit smoking for like 9 or 10 days - Losing track

Using a combination of the pills doc prescribed me and nicotine gum, I have managed to quit for about 10 days so far without going completely crazy.

My sense of smell is returning as I’m noticing the furnace air from the basment has a musty smell, which I had not noticed before.

Most of the basement doesnt leak but there is this one corner that I have to either mop and put a fan on or use my shop vac to clean up when it rains heavy. It keeps the basement smelling musty, but I have never noticed it in the air the furnace is blowing up here before.

Anyway. Sense of smell appears to be better and I am not coughing as much at night when I lay down. I am eating more though and probably gaining weight.

Sense of smell coming back is a big one. My big change after smoking was I could smell myself if I didn’t shower enough. Kind of wacky that I couldn’t do that before lol. Helps me keep bathed and clean though.
