I was wondering have you ever been harassed before? I have, even though I don’t know why. I believe harassment is not right and should be reported to the authorities. Sometimes it can escalate.

I had boobs and was menstruating at 10 years old. Grown men in the neighborhood hit on me all the time. I hated it! My mom’s own cop boyfriend tried to seduce me. She didn’t break up with him until he loudly was saying the three of us should all have threesome sex . I’ve lived through tons of neglect and abuse in my life. I grew up in a ghetto and it affected my whole life. Even when we left, and went to a nice suburb, I was still having serious issues that messed me up mentally and psychologically

once I was at a gig (it was a rap gig, if that matters) listening to the music and minding my own business, I was grabbed and harassed three times by three different men. I punched one of them in the gut because I was very angry. it made me feel worthless and gave me huge distress. I was wearing a t shirt and jeans, not that it should matter, but that’s what I was wearing.
the other times, well, I don’t care to get into that. but it has happened, multiple times, starting from when I was a young teenage girl.

I’ve had some women harass me when I rejected there advances they got very angry, some spread rumors about me that I’m gay. Others would just constantly find me and berate me or they would come to my job and make passive aggressive statements. I’ve also had some good experiences with women. I’ve also had female bosses sexually harass me but that was back in the day I just joked back even though I didn’t like the women. Not like today.

I’ve had such a hard life it seems unreal that it could have all happened to one person in one lifetime. But it gives me empathy for others and it makes me appreciate everything I have now much more than I may have otherwise

I’m sad and deeply sorry to say that I harassed someone on the old forum.
I was deeply psychotic and went to the forensic psych ward for 2 months.
After being in the psych ward, I went to court cuz I was under the mental health law program.

@Lilyofthevalley My heart just breaks for what you had to go through. My sisters were both around 8 years old when they started their cycles and developed. They had the same problem with grown men hitting on them. I don’t know why I was different and started puberty at a more “normal” age of 13, but I saw what they went through, and it wasn’t right. You should never have been exposed to any of that. I don’t think I’ve ever harassed someone. I sure hope not.

Thanks @Honeysuckle . It was a terrifying way to live and I was always trying to be tough in order to not be a victim but it wasn’t easy. I’m so sorry about your sisters. Poor things!

I was bullied and harassed by many different people over the years since childhood.
My ex wife was abusive.

Yeah if really was. He was raping my older sister and threatening us saying he could kill us and knew how to make the crime scene look like we were trouble making teens and it was self defense. He’s a horrible horrible man

@Lilyofthevalley Why didn’t an adult step in? Have you gone to therapy to discuss some of this openly and freely? I think I’d be so traumatized that I couldn’t function. It’s all so sad.

I have been harassed in my elementary,to point to be lynched by thirty of them ..
We moved from that Pavilion Gardens to a new building,but remain in same school…
Guess that was hard trauma ..
