You should wait 30-60 minutes after having coffee (or soda) to brush your teeth. The reason is coffee is acidic and temporarily weakens the enamel on your teeth increasing wear if you brush.

I brush just once a day before going to bed, hopefully it is enough to keep the teeth where they are. :tooth: :toothbrush:

I went to the dentist and had to get two root canals and crowns last year. I was only brushing my teeth at night. Now I brush my teeth twice a day and mouthwash twice a day and floss once a day. Dental work is expensive. I’m trying to take better care of my teeth now. I always worried about cavities because that’s all I was taught as a kid. I didn’t know about gum disease how you can lose teeth and periodontal disease. My aunt sees a periodontist her bill last time was $4,000. Now she has to pay $3,500 for a tooth implant she lost a molar due to gum disease. I’m more scared of gum disease than cavities. Cavity you just do a filling or pull the tooth. Gum disease is expensive teeth fall out need mouthwash twice a day to prevent.
