Its been a long time since I had a date and the last one really upset me,
I’m hoping this goes a bit better but there are a lot o variables,
The lady seems very nice and a social care worker, I am going to just wing it and hope for the best.
This sort of thing doesn’t happen to me very often so fingers crossed.

No worries about the age. My husband is 12.5 years older than I am, and he’s perfect for me. I’ve always appreciated his maturity. He makes me a better person. I am glad she seems kind and gentle.
I had a long term gf 2002-2016 she was 15 yrs older, she was very nice and kind too, now I am the older one lol
I like that you were willing to date an older woman. Some men won’t do that. My dad is a butthead about people’s ages. He’s in his late 60s and is disabled and pretty broke, so why does he think he needs a girlfriend who is my age? Surprise- he’s alone and very lonely. I don’t want that for him, but what’s wrong with someone his age or even someone a little older? He should broaden his horizons, imo. I like that you have. 
I am usually drawn to personality, Its hard to just hook up and have sex straight way, I need to take things slow at first and allow feelings to build up naturally, plus I have low libido.
I am still upset about what happened a few years ago, I think that person just wanted to use me and it hurt when… she didn’t get what she wanted straight away then told me some excuse about she needs to spend more time with her daughters then broke it off.

it went really well, she seems very nice, we had lunch then I took her on a squirrel trail not too long a walk, it couldn’t have gone better, she even gave me a gift.
