My blood sugar is fine so I don’t think I have prediabetes.
They should really add cholesterol to that list.

I got a message back from staff at my doctor’s office, about discussing and possibly going on GLP1 meds for weight loss saying I need to either call them to make an appointment or make one via my chart to discuss my options for GLP1 meds. I replied back to staff and asked if there is any way I can come in Sept 23rd that’s when I see my family dr anyway for labs and med refills so just waiting now to hear back if they say I can come in Sept 23rd, then I will go then and take Alli in the meantime. If they say I still have to make a separate appointment to discuss GLP1 meds I will do that just waiting right now to hear back, then go from there. Hoping also my insurance approves it I have CareSource a form of Medicaid that’s all the insurance I have. Wish me Luck everyone this has been in the making for a long time been wanting to ask my dr about glp1 meds this may be my chance to do just that. I also have a BMI of 31 like you @Agent101g and been stuck for years in trying to lose weight it may go down like 5 to 6 pounds then back up again. My weight constantly is fluctuating but I would like to lose more than just 6 pounds here and there. And get to a healthy weight for my height and body structure. I am currently 5’3 and considered overweight 180ish and I hate it way too big for my height and frame. And haven’t been able to get down under 180 mark or by very much anyway. I have severe sleep apnea going through perimenopause or at the end stage and have very mild CHF according to my cardiologist. And also have Iron anemia which can also cause weight gain. Hopefully getting on a GLP1 med of sort will help me.
I hope you are able to reach your goal weight and feel better on it. Keep us updated with how you are doing.
thanks will do @Vinegar
Good luck! I hope you can get approved.
Thanks me too @Agent101g
Good luck. THey did not work well for me. Made me very sick. Still trying to lose weight the slow natural way. Its a battle for sure.
I’m a little sick to my stomach on it. It’s not a cheat code, it’s a sacrifice. Eating what I want was one of my great joys despite my depression and it’s obvious to me that for this medicine to work I’m going to have to cut back.
