You are lucky it was caught in time.
I had appendicitis years ago and because I didn’t know what was wrong with me and I refused to go to the doctor in time my appendix burst.
I was close to dying

Yes it was definitely the easiest surgery I’ve had done just now I’m sore though and can’t sleep or eat anything at all body is out of whack

It will take some time for your body to snap back.
After all you were knocked out with anesthesia

I hope you feel better soon. I don’t have experience with appendices, but surgery is never a day in the park.
