Recently bought an electric blanket on amazon for 50 bucks.
Its only a throw sized blanket i think its like 5 feet square or something close.
Im writing this from under it in my recliner. It’s 15 degrees celcius in the house rn, but nice and toasty warm under the blanket.
It only costs less than a dollar a day in electric to run the blanket. My other heating options are 5-10 dollars a day minimum.
This is so essential for living in this house.

Yep I do feel really good about this purchase. The local hardware store hasca queen sized electric blanket for sale at 200 bucks. That would be too big for my double bed and for sitting in my chair. 50 bucks for this is a steal.
As long as I keep my feet legs and lower torso covered, I can be pretty warm in eben a 10 celcius room, but at 15c and below I need to keep my hands under it too, but I can use ps5 controller under it easily.

Yep I will use it with the house heat off in the cold months when it is not zero celcius or below. So october, november, part if march april and may. Should save about 600 to 1200 dollars using it.
