I was prescribed busper for anxiety and it’s my choice if I want to take it or not. I agreed to it, got the meds and just haven’t brought myself round to taking it. I can’t. The doc who prescribed it put me on sertraline 6 years ago while at the same time taking me off the antipsychotics and I went into full blown psychosis I have hardly any recollection of it happening. It feels like a dream. I don’t trust him even if he says it won’t cause psychosis.
Buspar is usually harmless @Ish

ive read that it can trigger psychosis in those susceptible … and now I can’t bring myself to take it… plus I don’t feel like I need it right now./

I’m no longer taking Seroquel because of extreme fatigue and am feeling much better

I think it’s up to you as long as it’s not a “must have” medication like a AP.
You could always try it and just decide not to take it if you feel off on it.
