Well I got the official email YESTERDAY that the start date of my new job has been moved from June 15th all the way out to August 10th. I am very upset, I was counting on this job to help me pay next month’s rent. And also the fact that they let us know 3 days before the start date is pretty inconsiderate. I am upset. But the job is worth waiting for. $25/hour is really decent.
Apparently there is an online meeting on Monday and it SOUNDS like they might have a temporary position during those 6 weeks. I am hoping that is the case.
ONLY positive to not starting right now is I have more time to work on my book.
