Yeah, I’m sitting here reading this article and thinking how lucky I am. I can afford to eat what I want within reason. I don’t think I’m in danger of losing my SNAP benefits or Medi-cal and I qualify to use the food pantry near me. I also just got my first bag of Medically Tailored Food, weekly healthy groceries I’ll be getting for 12 weeks paid for by a program my health insurance offers. Yeah, I’m living in luxury compared to the people in that article,

when my wife got her benefits they stripped us of Snap benefits…and no longer paid my medicare premium too…so we lost around 400 there…plus my wife has to pay for her medicare too…
