Morning sickness/nausea from meds?

I’ve had this for over 16 months now.

On Paliperidone alone

Then clozapine

the invega + abilify

now just abilify.

I hate it.

I’m on 300mg abilify, and I asked to have it reduced, but idiot pdoc at psych ward is upping to 400mg even though I’m pretty much asymptomatic.

I keep having to explain to these dumb idiots that lack of antipsychotics is not the cause of psychosis or psychotic features, but they’re fully indoctrinated by the psychiatry crap they were taught at their University.

This is why they’re upping the dose. They don’t care what you believe, they’re saying they are trained and have proof of their understanding

Fighting and arguing back isn’t going to work. Everything you say about psychiatry is true, but truth doesn’t have any particular power. These are people trained and paid by the state who has basically made it against the law to be psychotic. They can really mess you up badly man, and all the fault will be on you. I feel sick every day, but nobody cares and no justice will be done. Its a losing game for you so you have to pick the best strategy, and its not to argue and fight. Take the medicine not because they are right, but because they will win and you will lose.

I get the morning sickness and nausea every day. I usually get a drink as soon as possible and it passes. I think it’s because they dry your throat out. I gag when I wake up sometimes.

Yeah you’ll have to cooperate to get out of there. It’s stupid but you gotta do what you gotta do.

They can’t make you believe them, but the more they sedate you; the less likely you are to believe what is in their opinion a delusion - you thinking chemistry is bs, they’re not disagreeing with you on a personal level to spite you; they genuinely need you to be well.

Don’t you see that?

Edit - doctors in the UK for the most part have no reason to want anything other than what is good health because the financing of their wages is completely different.
