The person behind this forum is an actual, diagnosed schizophrenic.
That matters.
His decisions are from someone who has been there and who knows what we experience. It can’t be stated hard enough how vital that is.
Also.
God bless SzAdmin, but he did have business interests that revolved around part of that community. There was – at least at some points – profit motive, but the fact is it never made him wealthy and I am sure it was a cost to him in the long term. He stuck with it and credit where it’s due.
This forum was started by @SzSupportAdmin out of care and concern for the people at the old place and a desire to see they had somewhere to go to. Never any profit motive and he has been more than up front about any financial aspect. Perfect clarity in that department.
Finally, this new place has an admin that is on the ball. He can actually keep the place running because he has – and uses – all the tools an admin has. The mods at the old place tried our best, but we were missing a lot of the tools needed. The person with the tools there was never around to use them in emergencies.
This place wins and it will keep winning. I would rather pay out of pocket here than use free hosting there.

I had bad experiences with them. Lots of bias and unfair judgement. And beyond reproach, even when I held my corner over PM with them. Lots of presumption and errors. Unacceptable.
