Poll glitched?
When you get your poll working, I suggest adding one more option: āI work out on meds despite great difficulty.ā That would be what Iād choose.
I dont strength train due to the fact that i have a ICD aka defibrillator
I did then i broke a lead in my defibrillator and it almost killed me
I used to run
Abilify doesnt interfere with my energy levels
Need to start lifting once I figure out how to use the bus here
I used to work out before schizophrenia

I workout on low level meds and I do it within the limits of my heart condition with my cardiologistās approval.
I have CHF supposedly, But I would have to disagree with that diagnosis because I donāt have chest pain very often and if I do its anxiety related that I know of, but I can exercise with CHF if I donāt overdo it I had chest pains once at the gym when I tried to do too much too soon.
I rarely workout. Just the walking I do to shops or for other errands. Oh and going to my parents place which is rare too.
I wonāt be able to work out from now until my surgery heals.
My resting heart rate used to be 60ā¦now itās 120bpm. Iām scared to lift. I donāt want to damage my heart.
Sometimes 130bpm resting. Not good. Lifting was my life.
idk if itāll help, but if you smoke cigarettes, it could be an easy fix to reverse it. When i quit last year, after a month my resting heart rate went straight back down to the 60s. I wasnāt even exercising, just walking almost daily
I go for walks. I am not able to do anything intense due to a bulging disc in my back. I also worry about my heart leak too doing intense workouts.
Even though I didnāt work out for a while because I was dizzy
