Ive never used loops and samples… its got to be pretty effective because peoole make bomb
music with them.
yeah, the stacks feature makes it easier as well to get the base ingredients for a good track, the Accapela vocals are hard to pin down but as long as you watch the bpm & the key of it its ok, then its just arranging it all in the daw & adding effects if they need them.
Do the vocals come like at a certain bpm?
yeah, they seem to be marked as well but I can give or take a little bit anyway as the daw does a good job to make it all fit. I’ll probably use a glue compressor or a mastering tool to finish it off, idk, I haven’t done anything for a while so my memory isn’t great.
Third take… Let me know if this is better ? I feel like it is much more structured. The chords are still a little bad but this scale is hard for me lol
@Schizbro @2Waynez @labratmat @POET @Dreamer54 @Wave
Another better song like the ones i always make @labratmat @Daydreamer
Much more structured, I like it even better!
Thanks bro!! I just listened again and I think the first one has more heart its just done really badly lol
Glad you liked it man
Smooth jazz at its finest
Working on this tabla and bass track atm.
It is work in progress and need my being repaired piano keyboard back real soon to add loads to it.
I got my bass at the end of january @Dreamer54 what do you think of my progress?
@tarnishedLotus Bare bones track here of just live bass and live tabla, what do you think?
Keyboard still in the shop?
yep, but what about my bass and tabla man? ![]()
I like it man.. Its interesting how the bass line is structured compared to the stuff I do. It took me a few seconds to catch it but when I did I kinda got to moving with it.
It seems like the same note holds for a while before switching and the rhythm is more of the motion than the note changes.
I usually do my music the opposite but listening to this im gonna keep in mind you can play with more dynamics than note changes …
yeah, it is bass not guitar so it sort of glues everything else together (when i add other instruments later.)
Bass at my level is much more basic than lead guitar playing and also a live bass guitar and not a vst.
Yra man.. I was thinking of getting a bass to play around with. Im learning instruments are way diffrent than vst…they sound better but they dont play/act the same…
Im honna play with that style of bass on the bridge of the song im working on see how it turns out .
Also..I hope I didn’t sound like i was talking negatively about it..I was saying its different. And to be real half the time I phone in the drums and bass. My songs are starting to sound better now im paying more attention to
and groove…
Anyways..I thought it sounded really good bro. Tag me when u add full works to it!!
Also.. haven’t seen you around in a while.
No worries.
Get a bass man and play the instrument for real. It is so much better!
I already know bro…switching to live guitar is challenging but rewarding when it turns out
@FreeLunch Hope is eternal brother.
What do you think ? @labratmat
Great to hear you working with your own sound more.
It seems much more honest, real and authentic to my ears.
More musicianship overall.
Needs a bit more work though, some notes seem a little off though.
Great effort though.
Reinstalled fl studios… maybe I will make something good and show you guys
love to hear some of your guitar playing too!
