To all the dummies on this site

In all seriousness to anyone on the forum…how do you accept your limitations? I had a weird experience today with my therapist that reminded me im not the brightest crayon in the box lol

It doesn’t stop me for creating but I wish I had more. How do you be happy and dull lol

I know no limitations.

This illness doesn’t define me

I wouldn’t call yourself stupid man. Whatever happened with your therapist probably is a fluke.

It’s good to be modest about your intelligence, and aware that you know you know nothing, but at the same time self-depreciation can create psychological obstacles for you.

I want to quit vaping but I’m going to need some sort of chemical help to do so which my dr won’t give me

I use to have extreme ambitions too. It only lead me to failure. With more reasonable goals …success is more possible and if im thinking correctly the more manageable your goals the more likely you will build up to something big…

I could imagine advantages to that but too big too fast or unrealistic standards can be a problem. Maybe I should say dream big but keep your goals manageable….

You have to set realistic short term goals yes. Bit by bit.
