When I am hungry I drink lots of tea or coffee or sugar free drinks. Sometimes decaf coffee. It makes me full.

@D3VOUR I’m addicted to food it’s hard… I fear I’ll get to 250+ lbs and I’m close to that at 238 lbs (I was weighed in at the back dr today)

I eat low calorie foods. I usually eat twice a day, once at noon low calorie food like greek yoghurt with egg whites and veggies or fruits. Second meal at 5pm my parents cooking or if there is nothing like today I made one bagel with eggs and cheese and low fat turkey bacon. To feel full I always eat veggies and fruits. Sometimes I snack on apples or plain popcorn. That way I lost 70kg but recently gained 7kg eventhough I am eating the same amount.

I’m addicted to food too. It’s so easy to pick up a phone and order things. I spend hundreds extra on that a month. Trying to cut back on it. Doesn’t help I had surgery and can’t move around a lot or exercise on my bike to cut the calories down. When you’re bored all you wanna do is eat to have something to do. I’m losing weight doing meal prep. Down 10 pounds so far.

I love eating but I limit it so I don’t gain any weight. I’m at a plateau of 215 pounds.

It’s hard not to overeat sometimes though when food is the highlight of your day.

@Mars We can’t afford ordering food at restaurants most of the time and when we do go out we usually go to the local soup kitchen and get groceries while we’re at it my husband is autistic so doesn’t eat much there but for the sweets they usually have a sweet that he likes… It’s nice there and if you can’t eat all your food someone is usually willing to finish it for you… We have to use food banks a lot but don’t qualify for food stamps… Or Medicaid we pay $200 each for Medicare and are on fixed incomes so the food banks are life savers for us

@Agent101g I’ve been cross stitching for 2 days now it kept me from getting car sick today on the long curvy roads to the back dr today but yes I still wanna eat… At times I eat until I feel nauseated and I know that’s not good for me

I used to do that when I was 150kg, the longer I kept the diet the easier it got and eventually got full faster with less food. I am sure now if I do this for long enough it will be much harder to go back on the diet, yes its an addiction. Maybe look into weight loss meds. I never tried them.

That’s good you have a food bank to go to. I think I’ll delete that DoorDash app.

Do you live in an area that has something like Wellcare? They cover my medicaid because I’m on SSDI for 24 months or more. I’m in Ohio and they have a special program for medicaid for disabled.

Something like this. I’m on this program.

I was addicted to UberEats when I was 150kg when I was working. I almost spent all my work money on UberEats, was ordering everyday. 3 years ago when I did my diet I stopped using it. Like this year I only ordered online food once because of the 60℅ off coupon, they got me lol Sometimes if I don’t order they send an 80℅ off coupon to tempt me even more. I should uninstall it

Yeah I’m addicted to it. I just deleted it. I order it way too much. I put it on my credit card and I make a payment each month but it’s slowly blowing up. Not sustainable. Invega makes me so hungry. I’m slowly getting less hungry though so maybe I’m getting used to the medication.

You should ask your doctor about getting on a GLP1 if you are diabetic. That is pretty much the only way insurance covers it now unless you pay out of pocket.
