Good things @KingD I’ve been working out for 3 months and haven’t lost a pound. I’m just stronger. I thought about just eating vegetables but my mom lives with me so I cook communal dinners.

congrats @KingD

Nice dude! Great work!

I tried something similar but it wasn’t sustainable. What I found much more sustainable is eating a big bowl of vegetables for breakfast and now after lunch as well. But even just replacing breakfast with vegetables can get you a 500 calorie deficit which is all that’s needed to lose. Pound a week assuming your eating at maintenance.

Im at 260 down from 272. The olanzapine did me dirty, I was 220 last spring. Switching to latuda. I hope the switch helps.

How tall are you? I ask because if I were 179 i’d be pretty thin at 6’

Five foot ten, sir. Was closer to five foot eleven before I broke my back.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to imply you were too thin, I’m probably miscalculating it in my head

I haven’t had any luck even with the calorie deficit. Might be the invega. Gonna see my doc about it.

paliperidone sucks for metabolism when trying to lose weight, not nearas bad as olanzapine, but in my case even worse than risperidone. im on risperidone and im down 80 lbs since years ago, i lost 40 lbs switching from olanzapine to invega, and other 40 switching invega to risperidone and slowly lowering dose

No offense taken so no worries. My goal is 145 lbs. It’s not underweight, but it is on the thin side of the BMI scale. My cardilogist agrees that the less I weigh the less strain on my heart from supporting my basic system.

Yeah I might have to change meds if the doctor can’t help.
