Sorry @FreeLunch don’t be too hard on yourself. You tried your best. I hope you feel better soon.

At least you tried. That’s a lot, honestly; it’s not easy to put yourself out there. I hope you can take it easy now.

Hey @FreeLunch, it’s good that you went there for the time being. I love seeing other people realize their dreams. If it wasn’t meant for you then some other opportunity will come and maybe that time it’ll be the ā€œOneā€.

Good for you for trying, dude. That’s all we can do when it comes to working. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It’s good that you have a safety net – hope you can recover from the voices

When I was 18 I rage quit a retail job

I ripped my shirt off threw it on the floor and walked out

The manager lied to me and my black and white thinking allowed zero grey area

These days I have less fire in my belly

Sorry to hear it didn’t go as planned, this happens a lot with psychotic illnesses and I don’t know why it’s so cruel to us. I want to advocate for this illness’ various types more but I don’t know any organisation that truly cares enough to want to support advocacy; not even the NHS has any programmes for psychosis advocacy in my local area
