I’m looking for ideas. This lady in a book said she invited all of her grandchildren over for Saturday morning breakfast. I’m not sure what to add. So far I have my norm rituals like tea in the morning before work and writing poetry before and after work and reading a book after work.
I don’t have any rituals.
I like to make omelettes in my rice cooker
Ooo omelettes! I’ve never used a rice cooker before. What does it entail?
Maybe meditating or listening to something relaxing like ASMR
I could do that! like 5 -10 minutes a day. I used to meditate before bed, in the shower, and on my way to work but I stopped.
Drink coffee and write journal
I like this
My picks would be meditation and drinking green tea and that’s about it.

Ok! I guess maybe I’m just looking for something new, but maybe what I’ve been doing is good enough maybe. Maybe. I’ve been having issues with things being good enough for a while now and sometimes I forget.
Why do you need rituals
@raptor_z To fill my time so my mind doesn’t wander and for familiarity. I don’t like being uncertain.
What do you mean by uncertain. Do you want to be ritual like.habits
It means I don’t like trying to figure out what to do with all the time I have. Not as rigid as a habit but like something I do everyday so kind of. Something that I like to do, not out of obligations. when my mind wanders I get bored and when I get bored I start to overthink. It’s how I cope.
Coffee and biscuits after sunrise prayers
Yes i think as unemployed we cant fill all the day with something. Sometimes we just need to do nothing and get bored. Maybe apply simplier approach to life? What do you like most doing
I like reading and writing poetry
Why not make yourself wroting and reading your passion and fill.it as.much your time.as you can. …
Make yourself a.job have clear.goal.them you think less you know what you need to do and do all day
I could do that and maybe just focus on three things. Thanks.
It’s easy as fck
You just crack some eggs and beat them and put them in the rice cooker. The interior is non stick so no need for oil.
Cooks in 5-10 minutes
