It’s pretty simple here in Greece.
I have renewed my disability three times.
And in 2028 I will renew it again.

In my country is really hard to get disability. Several doctors need to write notes of being sick. One needs a documented history of not being able to work. Then a final doctor checks the notes and approves disability which is nearly impossible.

It’s based on the day when you call in sick for work here, there’s a 2 year period where you get coaching/guidance to get back to work or into other work, you still get paid the first year. After that you’ll get a test by a dr and other experts, based on that you’ll get a disability percentage (anything from 20% to 100%). There’s a lot of talk that this won’t be sustainable in the long term as a lot of people get into disability.

I think there are several ways, but a common one which I went through was joining a work programme where your functionality gets tested and evaluated.

But medicine keeps me sane ..

You clearly suffer from social phobia, which CBT is known to work for.

Travelling to australia as soon as possible ..

Maybe you would have more chances for recovery there and maybe easier to get disability?
